Tom Craig

My journey in the art world began in 1985 working for the writer and rare book dealer Colin Franklin and then the dealers in prints and drawings, Lott & Gerrish in St James’s, London. It was at these two establishments that I had my first interactions with collectors, dealers and museum curators and where I began to form an understanding of the modern art market.

When Lott & Gerrish left London I began to work on my own behalf and apart from a short period with the Anthony d’Offay Gallery in Dering Street, I took steps to establish a dealership in my own name specialising in Modern British Art. I made frequent trips to the United States developing relationships with museums from New York to Texas and in 1988 moved to Monaco establishing a successful business serving clients in the Principality.

Since then I have continued to work with collectors and museums in the acquisition and sale of works of art across a broad spectrum of periods and genres. The guiding ethos, to search out items of beauty and quality that have enduring value in both aesthetic and financial terms and to assist buyers with varied briefs to enjoy the acquisition of works of art and the many benefits of considered collection forming.
